Additional Initiatives

• Added a sustainability strategy comprised of ten distinct tactics and five performance measures as one of the five major business strategies in the McCormick Place Business Plan.

• Developed a Green Action Team which consists of key McCormick Place staff, contracted service providers, representatives of the General Service Contractors, Cleaning Service Providers and Exhibitor Appointed Contractors who work within the facility. This group looks at ways all parties can work cooperatively to provide an environmentally responsible facility and services.
