Exhibitor - Guidelines and Services - Amenities
At McCormick Place, we offer a full array of services and amenities to ensure your attendees a satisfying and welcoming visit. We offer much more than food and internet services. From ATMs to shoeshines, we make every attempt to accommodate visitors and attendees. The following information provides a general overview of what is available.
- Airport Check-in
McCormick Place is pleased to offer this new service to our customer planners and their event attendees. BAGs Remote Check-in Services provide boarding card issuance and baggage acceptance for domestic flights leaving O'Hare International Airport. Contact your Show Manager for your activity schedule.
- ATM Machines
Cash machines are available in each building: South Level 2.5 in the Convenience Center; North Level 2, near McDonalds; West Level 1 near the Transportation Center and Lakeside Level 2, near the Arie Crown Theater box office. All cash machines accept American Express, VISA, Master Card, Cirrus and Plus.
- Business Center
McCormick Place is proud to offer the convenience of providing the services of FedEx Kinko’s to our guests.
FedEx Kinko’s provides a worldwide network of digitally connected locations. An extensive variety of superior document services are designed to make you more productive. Services include:

- Full-service digital color and black and white copying and printing of on-site badges, fliers and other materials.
- Computer rentals and laptop docking stations.
- Document finishing services such as binding, collating, cutting, folding or stapling.
- Presentation services that include production of high-quality mounted boards, posters, banners and bound presentations.

FedEx Kinko's is located on level 2.5 of the Grand Concourse in the South Building. It is open Monday Through Friday, 8:30 AM until 5:00 PM. Satellite stores are also located on Level 2 in the North Building, Level 2 in the West Building and Level 2 in Lakeside Center. These are open based on event activity in the facility.
- Coat Check
For your convenience, coat check service is provided for most shows and is located according to the specific event schedule. Permanent coat checks areas are located at Gate 4 in the South Building and at the Transportation Center in the West Building.
- Disability Services
We have made every effort to accommodate people with disabilities. Throughout the complex, you will find entrances, elevators, restrooms and services that offer the accessibility that is required. Accessible parking is available in Lot A for events in South, North or West Buildings and in Lot C for events at Lakeside Center. McCormick Place also offers onsite rentals of mobility scooters, wheelchairs, PowerChairs and oxygen equipment through its preferred mobility service partner, Scootaround Inc. Mobility equipment can be reserved in advance and will be waiting at McCormick Place during your event or can be delivered to their Chicago area hotel. Daily and weekly rates are available with operators on call 24/7 at 888-441-7575 or by visiting their website at www.scootaround.com/rentals/m/mccormickplace.
- First Aid
McCormick Place provides wheelchair-accessible first aid stations in each building. They are operated and staffed by licensed medical professionals. Stations are fully-equipped and include automated external defibrillators (AEDs) to respond to life-threatening occurrences.
There are First Aid areas located in each building:
Lakeside Center – Level 1 nearby the Arie Crown Theater Dressing Room Entrance
South and North Buildings – Level 2.5 of the Grand Concourse nearby the FedEx Kinko
West Building – Level 1 nearby the Transportation Center
Hours of operation and location are based on event activity in the facility.
- Gift Shop
We maintain three gift shops featuring a fine line of Chicago sports apparel and souvenirs, Illinois lottery tickets and an extensive line of sundries ranging from film or disposable cameras to post cards and over the counter medications.
The main Gift Shop is located on Level 2.5 of the Grand Concourse. Standard hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM until 5:00 PM. Satellite shops are located on Level 2 of the North Building, Level 2 of the West Building and on Level 2 of the Lakeside Center. These shops are open based on event activity in the facility.
- Information Desks
The Information Desks at McCormick Place are the checkpoints for information about events in the facility and available McCormick Place services. Desks are located in the South Building, Level 1. West Building on Levels 1 and 3 and in Lakeside Center on Level 3.
- Infant Nursing Area
The First Aid Office located on Level 2.5 of the Grand Concourse in the South Building and on Level 1 in the West Building is setup to provide a private area for infant nursing.
- Internet
McCormick Place is pleased to offer Internet and networking services to event organizers and their exhibitors.
WIFI is available in facility restaurants at a competitive price.
- Relaxation Stations
Offering upper-body massage, visitors can take a few minutes to unwind from their hectic schedules during events. Sessions run between 10 and 30 minutes. Permanent stations are located in the Grand Concourse on Level 2.5 and in Lakeside on Level 2.
- Shoe Shine Service
A permanent service area is located on Level 2.5 in the Grand Concourse. Satellite locations are set up based on event activity and public space availability. Both drop-off and as-you-wait service is available.
- Truck Marshalling
Located adjacent to the South Building, McCormick Place manages a truck marshalling area available to all shows for their freight operation. This area operates 24/7 and offers space for 500 trucks, weighing stations and a canteen.
- U.S. Mailbox and Postage
Postage vending machines are located in a 24-Hour Convenience Center on the 2.5 Level of the Grand Concourse. Mailboxes are also located near the Business Center.
- Visitor Information Center
Postage vending machines are located in a 24-Hour Convenience Center on the 2.5 Level of the Grand Concourse and on Level 2 of the Central Concourse. Mailboxes are also located near the Business Centers in the South and West Buildings.
- 24-Hour Convenience Center
Located on the 2.5 Level of the Grand Concourse and on Level 2 of the Central Concourse, these Centers provide vending machines for the following services:
