McCormick Place Parking and Directions
Getting to McCormick Place is easy and convenient. There are three main parking lots on the McCormick Place campus. All are in close proximity and walking distance to our convention complex. Events in Lakeside Center and Arie Crown Theater designate Lot C as the primary parking location, while events in the North, South and West Buildings designate.
Lot C (6'4" h clearance) is an underground garage with 1,900 parking spaces and is located on Ft. Dearborn Drive, adjacent to the Lakeside Center. The parking rate is a flat fee of $19 per day with no in-and-out privileges. This parking lot is open throughout event hours. Overnight parking is not available.
Lot B (also known as 31st Street Lot) is an outdoor surface parking lot located at 31st Street near Lake Shore Drive South and Moe Drive. It holds over 1,800 vehicles. The parking rate is a flat fee of $14 per day with no in-and-out privileges. This parking lot is open throughout event hours. Overnight parking is not available.
Truck Marshalling (adjacent to Lot B) is available for overnight bus and truck parking based on availability. Reservations can be made at www.truticket.com/busparking.
Lot A (8' h clearance) is a six level garage with 2,100 parking spaces and is located on Martin Luther King Drive, adjacent to the West Building. Covered walkways from Lot A leading directly into McCormick Place and the Hyatt Regency McCormick Place Hotel also provide added convenience. The parking rate is $19 for up to 16 hours and $30 from 16 to 24 hours. There are no in-and-out privileges. Overnight parking is available in Lot A only. Lost tickets will pay the $30 (overnight) fee per day.
Parking fees can be paid by cash or credit card; VISA, MasterCard and American Express are accepted. Parking rates are subject to change at anytime.
Exhibitors: A limited number of guaranteed parking spaces are available at the rate of $23.75 per day by advance order of an Exhibitor Parking Permit. This permit allows access to the garages with in-and-out privileges. Parking spaces are guaranteed even if lots fill to capacity. Parking fees can be paid by check or credit card; VISA, MasterCard and American Express are accepted.
Also, McCormick Place allows exhibitors to unload and load small privately-owned vehicles without hiring labor at designated areas in the building.
